The Technical Committee

The Guidelines Committee is responsible for the definition and implementation of IVN production standards for eco-friendly textiles and leather.  The Guidelines Committee continually revises or supplements IVN guidelines to incorporate state of the art technical developments.

The Guidelines Committee consists of at least 5 persons including the executive director from the Board of Directors.  Membership of the committee should reflect all technical aspects of the textile chain in order to represent the opinions of the general membership.  The committee should be comprised of professionals from different levels of the textile chain as well as experts from the sciences and the ecological movement.
